The power of music

I was introduced to The Cranberries, well Zombie specifically by the older daughter of friends of my parents. She changed the way I saw music, and the world. From it I learnt that the world was so much more, and bigger,  than my ugly family bubble. That anger could lead to something beautiful and powerful. And that, that power could change the world.

I find it fitting that the words that best describe the loss of Dolores O'Riordan comes from another musician we lost, Chester Bennington [who wrote the song for the loss of Chris Cornell]

If they say
Who cares if one more light goes out?
In a sky of a million stars
It flickers, flickers
Who cares when someone's time runs out?
If a moment is all we are
We're quicker, quicker
Who cares if one more light goes out?
Well I do
